I'm a bit of a hobo this week since I'm moving on Saturday. Stayed with Kelly and Forrest last night. This is the Garden guestroom, quite pleasant. I'm usually a "darker please!" person when it comes to guestrooms but I'd trade it for looking out on to a wall of trees.

it became apparent at some time after 11 that if I wanted to get to sleep I'd have to head elsewhere. My friend Jim's place on a nearby mountain is often free and had a great guestroom.

At the really nice Gideon Putnam Resort where I had something like one double bed and one... twin? It cured my King-bed-itis, whatever it was.

The Super-8 Motel in Latham apparently has rooms in the basement! It also has free wifi and really it's just fine with me. It's quiet in the basement.
